Goldenseal Program Downloads

The Goldenseal Demo is the full multi-user version of Goldenseal business software with one limitation-- you can only enter 50 records in any type of account or transaction.  Otherwise it's exactly the same as what you buy.

The demo includes a Sample Company File** with data for a fake company, so it's easier to see how Goldenseal works.

Windows Demo

Goldenseal for Windows (5,300 K file size)
Instructions-- download the installer to your C: drive, and then double-click on the GSDemo installer.
Goldenseal requires QuickTime (available as a free download, if you don't already have it). For more about QuickTime, click here.
Goldenseal runs on Windows 98 and newer (including Win 98, NT, ME, 200, XP, Vista, 7, 8.x and 10).

Macintosh Demo for OS X

Goldenseal for 32-bit Macintosh (does not run on Catalina or Big Sur). (9,800 K file size)
Instructions-- download the installer file, and open it with Stuffit Expander, ZipIt or another decompression utility. If you are having problems unstuffing the file, click here for help.
Goldenseal runs native on Mac OS X.

HINT-- If you have a older Mac with a Power PC chip, download the Mac PPC Demo instead. For ancient versions of Macintosh, click for Mac OS 8 & 9 help.

A Goldenseal file that includes construction unit costs, and category systems for managing construction projects and running an architectural practice.

Construction Starter File

A Goldenseal file that includes construction unit costs and category systems for new construction and remodeling. It is construction estimating software and construction accounting software for home builders, remodelers and general contractors.

Developer Starter File

A Goldenseal file for property developers. It includes construction unit costs and category systems for building, selling and managing properties.

Drywall Starter File

A Goldenseal file for construction outside the US. It includes dimensions and unit costs based on metric measurements.

NOTE-- Material prices are based on calculated Canadian pricing for metric quantities. In other countries you can either enter local prices in local currency, or use the adjustment % in estimates to adapt the prices to your own currency value.

Paint Starter File
