Project Reminders

Use Project Reminders for general reminders to give yourself as part of a project estimate. You can get a report of reminders to help you with your project management.

NOTE-- For reminders about appointments, use regular Reminders instead.

Entering Project Reminders

To enter a Project Reminder, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Income Setup from the Income menu, then choose Project Reminders from the submenu.
  2. Click the New button, or click on an existing item and click the Edit button.
  3. Enter details for the reminder.

Data Fields

Enter the following information for each Project Reminder:

Name-- Type in a brief name for the reminder. This is the text that will appear in clairvoyant fields.
Message-- Type in the message you'd like to see in reminder reports for the project.
Comments-- Type in any comments you'd like to make about this item.

Using Project Reminders

To use a project reminder, enter it into the component table of an Assembly.

You can also include project reminders in the Item breakdown of an Estimate.

To see a report of all reminders for a project, choose Projects from the Reports menu, and choose Reminder List from the submenu.
