Estimates in List

Problem

I don't see the XXXX account (or transaction) in the Account field of an Estimate!
estimate doesn't show in Project account in Goldenseal construction estimating software
account not in clairvoyant field

Diagnosis

1. Did they just create the account that is not showing?
2. Does the item have something in the name/brief description field?
3. What is in the Status popup field, for the account or Estimate that is not showing?

Solution

1. If recently entered, have them go back there, and hit the Enter key to save the record. The record was probably not completed-- Goldenseal doesn't save the record to disk immediately, so other records don't know about it til it's saved.
2. If blank, fill in some text. GS 1.02 was the first version to forbid blank name fields. Some later versions would allow blank names in some cases.
3. Goldenseal estimating software usually won't list items with Completed, Closed or Void status.
