Misses Bid Price Change

Problem

Changing a Bid price does not always update the Estimate properly.

Diagnosis

User changes a bid. The total price in the estimate is updated, but when they come back the line item went back to its original value.

Solution

In Goldenseal construction bidding software 2.8 and earlier it sometimes doesn't save the breakdown change correctly.

Click in the breakdown and enter the same bid again-- that will update to the current price and save it.

Fixed in version 2.9 of Goldenseal construction estimating software.

NOTE-- This problem has actually taken much longer to fix. Later versions would sometimes lose the link between Bid and Estimate if the Estimate was not saved yet, when the Bid was created.
