Using Excel Windows |
NOTE-- In 2000 we completely replaced MacNail with the newer Goldenseal construction estimating software. There are still die-hard MacNail users, so we keep the manuals online for their use! Goldenseal is an integrated program that also includes accounting, job costing and contract writing features. It is available for both Macintosh and Windows, and uses the same basic types of windows as other software for those platforms. Sizing and Placing Macintosh Windows MacNail Estimating software uses the same basic window types, as other Macintosh software. Here are the controls at the top of each window: * Close Box: The close box or 'go away' box closes a window in the MacNail construction estimating software. If it is the only window of a file, it will remove the entire docuemtn from view. If it is on of several windows, the document will still be open. NOTE: To close an estimate with multiple window display on, use *Close Estimate instead. Otherwise your document will re-open with fewer windows displayed. NOTE: If you accidentally click the close box for one window of a multiple window display, choose *Reset Windows from the FORMAT menu. Choose it a second time to return to the multiple window display. *
