Contract Packages

Use Contract Packages to assemble a set of contract clauses into a "stock" contract.

HINT-- The Goldenseal project management software uses contract packages to write "boilerplate" contract language for projects.

Entering Contract Packages

To enter a Contract Package, follow these steps:

Choose Contract Setup from the Options menu, then choose Contract Packages from the submenu.
Click the New button, or click on an existing item and click the Edit button.
Enter details for the package.

Data Fields

Enter the following information for each Contract Package:

Name-- Type in a brief name for this contract package. This is the text that will appear in clairvoyant fields.
Description-- Type in any comments you'd like to make about this item.
Items Included-- Goldenseal displays a list of all Contract Clauses. Put a checkmark next to each clause that will be included in this contract package.

Using Contract Packages

Enter a Contract Package into the Contract Package field in a Contract. The Goldenseal project management software will include the selected "boilerplate" clauses in the contract.
