Labor and Equipment Costs

We figure 19 cubic yards of soil remove per hour of excavator time (with operator), plus an hour of unskilled labor per 20 cubic yards of soil.

Goldenseal calculates foundation hole volume, based on the area and depth. You can adjust the quantity if a different amount of excavation is required (for example, on sloping ground).
