Problem

In Goldenseal estimating software versions 4.6 and earlier, the value of a Percent of Materials line item in an Estimate may be too high, if some of the Assembly line items have a flat quantity component.

NOTE-- This problem also occurs in Percent of Labor line items, and any of the other options that take a percentage from just part of the cost of Assemblies.

Caught By

User bug report.

Workaround

Percent of Hard Costs or Percent of Total line items are not affected by this problem, so that might be a better option in older versions that have this problem.

Solution

This problem is fixed in versions 4.7 and after, for Goldenseal construction estimating software.
