Custom Color Palette |
Feature Starting with Goldenseal accounting software version 4.6, we've added a custom color palette for setting text and background colors in breakdown tables (and potentially, in other locations). It has more pale, pastel colors and fewer bright colors, which makes more sense for screen display in data entry windows. You can use either the custom palette or the standard system palette (which is more garish). Suggested By Turtlesoft staff. How to Use To choose the color palette that Goldenseal uses for data entry screens, follow these steps:
NOTE-- You'll see the color palette in action when you set the background and text colors in Cost Categories. Technical Details Programmer note-- code added in CTCS_ColorPalette::LoadAppropriatePalette. Right now we only use the custom palette for category colors used in breakdown tables for Estimates and other business transactions. However, in future updates we probably will expand the custom palette to other uses where a limited range of colors makes sense. |
