Starting with Goldenseal accounting software version 4.55, you can use the Deposit Funds command to deposit income received from Events.

How to Use

To deposit the income received from an event, follow these steps:

1. Choose Income from the Income menu.
2. Click the New button.
3. Enter details about the event. HINT-- you can use a breakdown to identify specific income sources for the event.
4. When you are finished, hit the Enter key to save changes.
5. Choose Deposit Funds from the Bank menu.
6. Enter Events into the popup field at the upper right corner of the window.
7. Mark off the event(s) ready to deposit.
8. Click the Deposit Funds button.

Goldenseal small business accounting software then handles the income from Events, similarly to the income from projects or sales.
