Starting with Goldenseal accounting software version 4.55, you can add breakdowns to Events. For example, you can use the breakdowns to itemize different types of tickets sold.

NOTE-- Events are a new type of transaction that you can use for sources of income that don't come from a specific customer. You can job cost expenses against an Event, and see 'income vs expenses' for each Event, via the Job Costs command.

How to Use

To add breakdowns to an Event, follow these steps:

1. Choose Events from the Income menu.
2. Click the New button.
3. Click on the Breakdown popup field on the left side of the window, and choose Category or Items.
