In Goldenseal job costing software version 4.55, we've slightly improved the handling of estimated/budget amounts in the Job Costs window.

When there is no estimate for a project, we now use actual costs for the budget amount. That way, you won't see large losses for those projects.

How to Use

To use Goldenseal accounting software to see "estimated versus actual" expense reports, follow these steps:

1. Choose Job Costs from the Costs menu.
2. You'll see a list of reports, with a summary of expenses to date. It will also show the original estimate or budget for the project.

HINT-- In the Job Costs window, you can use the Job Types popup field at upper right, to see costs for differerent types of work.
