Project Tool List

NOTE-- We retired MacNail in 2000 or 2001, when we introduced the first version of Goldenseal construction business software. Like MacNail, Goldenseal is built for home builders, remodelers and other project-based businesses. Goldenseal is "run your whole business" software that creates simple construction schedules, and also covers your accounting, construction estimating, and project management needs. Goldenseal includes a Tool List report, that is similar to the same report in MacNail.

Tool List

The *Tool List menu command will make a list of tools from the active schedule in the MacNail construction scheduling software. It "looks up" tools from the Reminder Master, based on the item code for each line in the schedule.

To make a tool list, follow the procedures described in the *Material Takeoff section, but choose *Tool List from the Data menu at step two.

To change the tools used for any schedule item, change the appropriate line in the Reminder Master (see page 126).
