Concrete construction unit cost for installation of concrete foundation walls or retaining walls.

This cost covers the cost per cubic yard for a wall of any thickness. Use it along with the cost per square foot.

NOTE-- This is half of a two-part unit cost that covers any wall thickness. Goldenseal also includes standard unit costs for walls in two common thicknesses, 8" and 12".

We figure 1.2 unskilled hour per cubic yard of pour.

This covers placement of the concrete.

NOTE-- The cost of formwork and finishing is covered in the per square foot unit cost.

The cost includes one yard of concrete, plus 8% waste factor, and a reminder to bring some concrete placement tools.
