Problem

After creating a new bank account, some ways of starting the first transaction would screw up the record display, which would show 0 Items but 1 Found Item. That made it impossible to add the first bank transaction for the account.

Caught By

User bug report.

Workaround

Choose Checking Transactions from the Bank menu, and choose All Accounts from the submenu. Then you can enter the first bank transaction, and the problem will not recur.

Solution

Starting with Goldenseal accounting software version 4.9, this problem is fixed.
