Starting with Goldenseal payroll software version 4.3, you can enter a delay for the start of benefits and vacations. That means that new employees will need to wait for a specified period, before they start earning benefits, vacations or paid holidays.

How to Use

To enter a delay for the accrual of a benefit, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Payroll Setup from the Costs menu, and choose Benefit Items from the submenu.
  2. Click on an item, then click the Edit button.
  3. Enter values into the fields labelled Starts xxx Weeks After Hiring.
  4. Click OK.
