In Goldenseal accounting software version 3.9, there
are more options for inserting and deleting table rows.
- We've added keyboard shortcuts so you can more quickly delete rows
from tables.
- We've expanded the keyboard shortcuts to tables in lists.
- You can now set Preferences for whether to get a warning
before deleting table rows.

How to Use
To insert a row in any breakdown table or list table,
do either of the following:
- Choose Table from the Edit menu, and choose Insert Row from the submenu.
- Hold down the Option key (Macintosh) or Alt key (Windows),
and click in the table at the spot where you'd
like the new row to appear.
To delete a row from any breakdown table or list table,
do either of the following:
- Choose Table from the Edit menu, and
choose Delete Row from the submenu.
- Hold down the Shift key plus the Option
key (Macintosh) or Alt key (Windows), and click
on the row you'd like to delete.
To control whether you get an "Are you sure?" warning before deleting rows, follow these steps:
- Choose Preferences from the Options menu, and choose Interface from
the submenu.
- Turn on the Ask Before Deleting Rows checkbox to get a
warning before a row is deleted. Turn it off
to have it be deleted immediately.
- Click OK.
