Printing Without Currency Sign

Starting with Goldenseal accounting software version 3.7, you can print money values without a currency sign.

For example, you might want to do that if you are printing on a pre-printed check form that already contains a currency symbol.

How to Use

To set up a printed form so it prints a money value without the currency symbol, follow these steps:

1. Choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, and choose Printed Forms from the submenu.
2. Use the popup fields at upper left to locate the specific form you'd like to change.
3. Click on the field you'd like to change.
4. Choose Number Format from the Format menu.
5. Turn off the checkmark next to Currency Symbol.
6. Click OK.
7. Close the Custom Layouts window, and when you are asked to save changes, click Save.
