Server Startup

I just made a server file, and I still can't connect to it!

After you change the file type in Network Preferences, you need to Exit/Quit from Goldenseal multi-user accounting software, and then reopen the file. When you do that, Goldenseal will launch your company file as a server, and clients will be able to connect.

HINT-- When a server file opens, it will show a Network Log that tells you when it has successfully connected to the network. It also shows you when clients connect and disconnect. You can control the Network Log display in Options--Preferences--Network.
