Downloading Older Application Versions

How do I download an older version of the Goldenseal software program?

In some cases, we allow you to download and install an older version of the Goldenseal accounting software application.

For example, that may be necessary if there is a bug in a newer version that might make it desireable to return to a previous version.

NOTE-- Only some versions of Goldenseal allow you to return to an older program version.

Requesting older version downloads

If you think you need an older version of Goldenseal, check our update download page. It will say whether you can "go back" from the current version, to an older version of the Goldenseal estimating software program.

If downloading of an older version is possible, please contact our support staff. They will first determine whether the older version is necessary (and possible). If it is, they will add a link to your download account, so you can get the older version.

Macintosh Downloads

The current Macintosh business software installers do not remove older versions of the Macintosh application. It's possible that you already have a previous version on your computer. Please contact our support staff, and they can help determine whether you need a download or not.

Windows Downloads

The current Windows business software installers automatically remove older versions of the Windows application. If you need to go back to a previous version, you'll need to install the older version.

When you download an older version of the Goldenseal software for Windows, the installer will ask you if you'd like to update your registry to link Goldenseal files to the new application.

Click "Yes" if you want to always use the older version, to open files.
Click "No" if you still want to use the current version most of the time.
