Quick Adjustments |
If you need to get an estimate out right away, you can use Goldenseal's Adjustment Percent to make a "quick and dirty" adjustment. To use it on your comparison estimate, type in whatever adjustment makes it match your actual costs. For example, if your comparison estimate came in at $90,000 and your actual costs were $100,000, you'll need an adjustment percentage of about 11%. HINT-- The Adjustment Percent only applies to Cost Items and Assemblies, so you may need to "fiddle" with the adjustment to get it to calculate exactly right. Once you find the correct adjustment for your comparison estimate, follow these steps to use it on a "real" estimate:
