Changing Data Entry Fonts

I don't like the screen fonts in Goldenseal. How can I change them?

Goldenseal estimating software and accounting software gives you two ways to change the fonts used in data entry windows.

Changing All Fonts

To change the "default" font that is used in all data entry layouts, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Preferences from the Options menu, and choose Interface from the submenu.
  2. Click on the Screen Font popup field, and change to a different font.
  3. Click OK.

Goldenseal will use the new font when you open new windows. If windows were open when you made the change, you may see both fonts for a short while.

HINT-- You can also change the font used for printed forms.

Changing Some Fonts

To change just some text fields to a different font, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, and choose Accounts, Lists or Transactions from the submenu.
  2. Use the popup fields at upper left to locate the type of record you'd like to change.
  3. Click on the text field you'd like to change.
  4. Choose Font from the Text menu, and choose a different font.

You can also select multiple fields and change the font for all of them at once. Choose Select All from the Edit menu, drag a 'selection rectangle' to select a group of fields, or hold down the shift key and click on multiple fields.
