The Goldenseal software creates quick and accurate construction estimates on Macintosh and Windows computers. Goldenseal uses "smart dimensions", unit costs, assemblies and construction templates to handle residential and light commercial construction projects. The construction starter file comes complete with templates for several types of construction. It also includes over 2000 unit costs for the labor and materials in most types of building construction. Turtle Creek developed the Goldenseal price database for our own construction company. We also include "starter files" for painting, drywall and framing contractors, and for architects and developers. When you use the Goldenseal construction estimates software, you benefit from our 30 plus years of expertise in construction and construction software design. When we first developed our software we were able to get within 2% of actual costs on most of our estimates, and with a little practice you'll be able to do the same. Once you've created estimates, The Goldenseal software will also help you with project schedules, project contract documents and project billing. You'll also get a bill of materials (material takeoff) and a tool list from each of your estimates.
