Goldenseal is construction bid software that gives you fast and accurate cost estimates for many types of construction projects. Goldenseal includes a construction cost database of over 2000 unit costs and assemblies, based on our prices from Turtle Creek Construction. They will help you to create fast, accurate bids and estimates for clients. You can also use "smart dimensions" to quickly calculate labor and material quantities, based on a few simple measurements. For new construction you can enter whole-project measurements, and for remodeling you can do it room by room. When you enter material purchases or price quotes, Goldenseal automatically updates the unit costs, so you future bidding will always be as accurate as possible. Goldenseal also tracks subcontractor and supplier bids that you receive. If you use competitive bids, the estimate automatically uses the low bid, and updates the total project cost whenever you enter each new or changed bid. You can even start with a "rough estimate" bid amount, and then replace it with firm price quotes when you receive them. The Goldenseal construction bid program is integrated software which also handles job cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, project management and general business management functions.
