Problem
doesn't know how to make an icon for MacNail construction
software (Windows 3.1 or earlier).
Lost icon, can't start up Windows MacNail construction estimating
or construction
accounting software.
Diagnosis
1. doesn't know how to make an icon
2. icon disappears after restart.
3. otherwise having problems with icons, frustrated
Solution
1. We have a separate instruction sheet for making
an icon for MacNail. Follow that.
2. Reported by one user??? A windows problem, refer them to MS Tech Support.
3. Tthey can always use File Manager to open MacNail. To do so, see steps below:
1. switch to File Manager (if in Program Manager and FM is not running, open
the Main window and double-click on File Manager).
2. open the MacNail folder (on C: drive?)
3. double-click on the MACNAIL.XLM file. Can also open a folder like ACCOUNTS and
click on the proper .XLM manager.
