Problem
Need to restore from a backup file, replacing
a damaged worksheet in MacNail construction
management software.
Diagnosis
Worksheet is damaged and they have a recent backup.
Undo didn't work, and the file was saved since the damage was done.
Solution
To restore from a backup copy, follow these steps:
1. Choose Save As, and save the file as "damaged ledger" or something similar.
2. Put the backup copy onto the hard disk, replacing newer/existing file (which is the damaged
one).
3. Open both damaged file and restored backup file. Copy/paste any new info from the damaged
file to the backup, inserting rows as needed to provide a spot for them.
