Check Comments

Problem

check-printing- will the text in the "comment" column on the check ledger be transferred to the "comment" area on the check? This applies to MacNail construction accounting software and its check printing features.

Solution

They can change this by fiddling with the check printing blank in the Accounting Blanks folder (some people may not want clients to see comments!)

NOTE-- There is a similar situation in Goldenseal accounting software. Standard check blanks do not add comments from the checking transaction, but you can add them via the Custom Layouts command. Goldenseal also includes standard Messages that you can print on checks or other business forms.
