Saving Accounting Files

*Save All

Choose *Save All to save all open documents in the MacNail construction accounting software.

NOTE-- Goldenseal construction accounting software replaced MacNail in 2000. It's an integrated program that includes general accounting, job costing, payroll and project billing, plus estimating and other features. Goldenseal automatically saves your data, so it doesn't require a special Save command.

It may take up to several minutes to save all documents, depending on their number and size, and the speed of your computer. If you put a check beside Beep when finished under *MacNail Options in the OPTIONS menu, the computer will beep when finished with this command.

*Print Selection

Keyboard shortcut: option-command-P.

Choose *Print Selection to print the cells that are currently selected (darkened).

Before you choose this menu command, select the area of the worksheet you wish to print.

NOTE: On a small screen this item won't show. Scroll to the bottom of the pull down menu to see it.
