Accounting with Excel 2.2 |
This manual is written assuming you are using Excel 1.5. Excel 2.2 offers some new features, but few of them affect the MacNail construction accounting software. Those that do are noted in the text and below. NOTE-- In 2000, MacNail was replaced by Goldenseal construction accounting software. Goldenseal is an integrated program that includes general accounting, job costing, payroll and project billing, plus estimating and other features. It does not require Excel. Converting MacNail Files MacNail is available in both Excel 1.5 and 2.2 formats. If you have
the 1.5 version and upgrade to Excel 2.2 you'll need to convert all your MacNail files. To do this: Non-MacNail files will need to be converted to 2.2 format
by hand. To do so: You will need to repeat
this process for each file.you want to convert. When all files have been converted you will see that
the icon for the file will be different. Now your files will open quickly and work more
efficiently under Excel 2.2. |
