When to Use Unit Sizes

Use Unit Sizes to identify the size of items that you buy, sell or include in projects.

For example, you might want to use the following unit sizes for your interstellar horse racing, shoe and detergent store:

  • light years
  • furlongs
  • EEEE
  • super jumbo

Entering Unit Sizes

To enter Unit Sizes, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Other Lists from the Options menu, and choose Unit Sizes from the submenu.
  2. Click the New button, or click on an existing item and click the Edit button.
  3. Fill in details about the item.

Data Fields

Enter the following information for each Unit Size:

Name-- Type in a brief name for this benefit item. This is the text that will appear in clairvoyant fields.
Description-- Type in any comments you'd like to make about this item.
Plural-- Type in the plural form of this item.

Using Unit Sizes

Enter Unit Sizes into the Unit Size field in Assemblies and Cost Items.
