Breakdown Popup Menu

Many transactions have a Breakdown popup field, at the left side of the window. The Breakdown field is a popup menu that shows you a list of available breakdown types.

The breakdown popup lets you include an optional Breakdown Table in the transaction, where you can enter more details for the transaction.

Breakdown Popup Choices

Many business and accounting transactions offer two different breakdowns-- Categories and Items. Briefly, a Category breakdown allows you to type in text to describe each line item, while an Item breakdown shows clairvoyant fields for Cost Items, Assemblies, or other records.

A few types of accounting breakdowns show other, more specialized breakdowns.
