Labor Costs

We figure about 2 hours of skilled labor and 2 hours of unskilled labor to install one square of straight roofing.

NOTE-- There are additional unit costs for adding underlayment, caps at ridges and hips, flashing valleys, and for steep roofs. The price assumes materials can be delivered straight to the roof surface. This price does not include the cost for installing fall barriers or scaffolding.

Material Costs

The cost includes sufficient concrete roofing tiles to cover one square (100 square feet) of roof area, with an 8% waste factor.
