Problem

Some users of the Windows version of Goldenseal accounting software and estimating software have reported very slow drawing of breakdown tables. We finally got an older laptop that showed similar problems, and we found that table drawing speeded up immensely when we replaced the dotted background with a plain, solid gray.

Solution

Starting with Goldenseal estimating software version 4.7, tables will draw much more quickly in the Windows version.

NOTE-- Please report any other unusual screen problems in the WIndows version! Now that we have the magical slow-drawing machine, we can more easily test for and fix such problems.
