How to Use

You don't need to do anything special to use this new feature. Goldenseal cost accounting software will automatically colorize negative and zero numbers in action dialogs, so it's easier to see losses, or unusual money amounts.

If you want to change the text coloring in data entry windows, printed forms or reports, do the following:

  1. Choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, and choose the type of window you'd like to change.
  2. Use the popup fields at upper left, to select the data entry window, report or form that you'd like to change.
  3. Click on the money or number field(s) that you'd like to change.
  4. Choose Number Format from the Format menu.
  5. Select the colors to use for positive, negative and zero amounts.
  6. Click OK.
