Autofill & One Item Reports

Problem

If you set up a "one item" report to fill in values automatically, it will give an error message when you first open the report.

Not a real big deal, but it could be annoying or confusing if you have set the report options incorrectly.

Caught By

Turtlesoft testing.

Workaround

If you get this problem in Goldenseal software version 4.3 or earlier, follow these steps:

1. Choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, and choose Reports from the submenu.
2. Use the popup menus at upper left to locate the report.
3. Choose Report Display from the Options menu.
4. If One-Record Display is turned on, turn off the checkbox for Update on Opening Window.
5. Click OK.
6. Close the layout, and save changes.

Solution

This problem is fixed in the version 4.32 update for Goldenseal accounting software.
