Estimate and Project Changes

Problem

In Goldenseal 4.3 and earlier, it is possible to get a project to have a different price from the estimate it uses. That can happen if you enter an estimate into a Project account, and then change the Estimate before you save the project.

Workaround

If you save the Project account right after entering the Estimate, this problem cannot occur.

If there is a mismatch between the project amount and the estimate, follow these steps to correct it:

1. Remove the Estimate from the Project account.
2. Close the Project account window, and then reopen it.
3. Re-enter the Estimate.
4. Hit the Enter key to save changes.

Solution

This problem is fixed in Goldenseal 4.32 and later. When you save the Project, it will pick up any changes that may have occurred recently in the estimate.
