Rent History Report

Problem

It's not possible to change details in the Rent History report.

Caught By

User bug report.

Workaround

Follow these steps to unlock the controls:

1. Choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, and choose Reports from the submenu.
2. Enter Rentals into the Area popup field at upper left.
3. Enter Rental Transactions into the Report popup field.
4. Choose Report Display from the Options menu.
5. Turn on the checkboxes for User Can Change, under Item Range and Date Range.
6. Also turn on the checkbox for User Can Change Breakdown.
7. Click OK.
8. Close the layout window, and save changes.

Solution

The stock layout provided with Goldenseal rental management software version 4.3 has the user controls already turned on.

NOTE-- If you have previously customized the report, you won't see the changes made in the stock layout. In that case, follow the steps above.

Technical Details
