Clear Estimate Button

Starting with version 3.9 of Goldenseal estimating software, you can add a Clear Estimate button, to more easily "erase" all quantities in an estimate.

How to Use

To add the Clear Estimate button, follow these steps:

1. Choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, and choose Transactions from the submenu.
2. Enter Estimates into the Transaction popup field at upper left.
3. Enter Category or Items into the Layout popup field at upper left.
4. Click on the Button tool (fifth row left in the tool palette on the left side of the window).
5. Click in the layout, and drag a rectangle where you'd like the button to appear.
6. You'll see a list of buttons. Choose Clear Estimate, then click OK.
7. Close the Custom Layout window, and save changes.
8. The next time you open the Estimates window, click the Clear Estimate button to change all quantities to zero.
