Pay Bills-- Non Check Payments

Goldenseal accounting software versions 3.72 and later now allow you to use the Pay Bills command for electronic transfers, debit cards, and other non-check payments.

How to Use

When you choose a payment account in the Pay Bills command, you can now choose Checking Debit as a payment method in the Pay From popup field.

Those choices will take the money out of your bank account, just the same as a check payment. But they will not use the next check number.

If you want to pay by a sequentially-numbered check, use Checking as an account type.

NOTE-- In rare cases, you may need to use Loan Check or Loan Debit, if the payment is not coming out of a regular checking account.
