View To Do List Button

Starting with Goldenseal business management software version 3.6, you can add a button to any account to show all of the To Do List items involving that person.

How to Use

To add a View To Do List button to any account, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, and choose Accounts from the submenu.
  2. Enter the desired account class into the Account Type popup field at upper left.
  3. Enter Items into the Layout popup field at upper left.
  4. Click on the Button tool (5th row left in the tool palette on the left side of the window).
  5. Click in the layout, and drag a rectangle at the place where you'd like the button to appear.
  6. You'll see a list of available buttons. Choose View To Do List, and click OK.
  7. You may need to rearrange items in the layout.
  8. When the layout looks the way you'd like, close the window. When you are asked whether to save changes, click Save.
  9. You'll see the new button the next time you open the window for that type of account.
