Pay To Accounts for Tax Items

My Pay To account changed for some tax items!

In Goldenseal payroll software versions 2.7 and older, a payroll update would replace the state and federal "pay to" accounts with the standard accounts that come with Goldenseal. That was a problem for some users who changed those accounts. If you have an older version of Goldenseal, you should check your Tax Items and Benefit Items to make sure the payee accounts are still valid, after importing payroll.

In Goldenseal 2.8 and after, payroll updates will not change the "pay to" accounts for your tax items. They will update any rate changes, without affecting the Pay To information.
