What Category Systems are available for organizing my service business?

Each Goldenseal Starter File includes several different Category Systems, so you can organize your expenses and income into a logical set of cost divisions. The Service Starter File is designed specifically for services businesses, providing any type of trade or professional services.

The Service Starter File come with the following Category Systems:

  • Equipment-- tracking expenses for equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Marketing-- costs for advertising and marketing
  • No Categories-- blank category system
  • Office-- for office and overhead expenses
  • Services-- costs for providing services to your clients and customers

NOTE-- You'll probably want to add more Cost Categories for each of the types of items that you buy and sell, or services you provide.
