What Category Systems are available for organizing my property management?

Each Goldenseal Starter File includes several different Category Systems, so you can organize your expenses and income into a logical set of cost divisions. One of the starter files is designed specifically for property managers, including unit costs and cost categories for maintenance and repairs of rental units.

The Property Manager Starter File comes with the following Category Systems:

  • No Categories-- blank category system
  • Office-- for office and overhead expenses
  • Rental Maintenance-- costs for maintaining rental units
  • Sales & Marketing-- costs for advertising and showing rental units or units that are for sale

NOTE-- If you build new rental units, use the Developer Starter File instead.
