Items not Showing in Clairvoyant Fields

I entered a record, and it's not showing up in menus! What gives?

Saving Records

When you create a new record, Goldenseal accounting software does not show it in clairvoyant fields until you save the record. You can do that in any of the following ways:

  • Press the Enter key on your keyboard.
  • Click the New button to create another new record.
  • Click on the Browser control to move to a different record.
  • Close the window that contains the record.
  • Use the Print Forms command to print the record.

Once a record has been saved, it will show up in menus, reports and other commands.

Void and Completed Status

A record that has Void status will not show up in menus.

Some menus show only "active" records that have not yet been paid or otherwise completed. Once a record has been paid, it will not show up in those menus.

A few clairvoyant fields show only special items. For example, the Sales Rep field only shows employees who get a commission.
