New Job Costing Categories

Problem

1. How to add new cost categories to 1 layer cc sheets, or to office cost control accounting worksheet.
2. Can you change cost categories in one-layer job cost sheet of MacNail construction accounting software?

Diagnosis

They want to add categories to a job cost accounting worksheet.

Solution

1. Easy, use *Add Rows from Edit menu. May be asked "Include formulas from previous row?" Choosing this will make a new row that is a duplicate of the previous row, with all the correct formulas.
Then type the category code into column A, and a descrpition into column B>
2. Sure, just type in a new category code and/or description

NOTE: if using number categories, you must use integers (e.g. 1, 2, 101, 102) and put two periods after them (e.g. 1.., 2.., 101.., 102..)
