Check Printing gets Wrong Address |
Problem check printing looks up next supplier in Master Addresses file, supplier # zero. Diagnosis when you put in material supplier zero (M-0) in a ledger, the check printing currently looks up the address for material supplier 1 (M-1). This is a known minor flaw in MacNail construction accounting software, due to the way LOOKUP() works in XL. Solution Since M-0 is used for small one-time suppliers, they'll be entering a name and address directly onto the check anyhow, so it's not a real big deal-- just scroll down to that check and type in the correct information (or delete the rows for that check if you want to skip it completely). NOTE-- The newer Goldenseal accounting software program has better handling for "one time" names, and also does a better job of storing addresses for vendors and customers.
