Addresses in Check Printing |
Problem check printing still uses previous address if a field is blank in the Master Addresses file Diagnosis When they print checks for an account with no address, it fills in the address from previous check. Solution in the Master Addresses file, enter a <space> in cells that you want to keep blank. This works around an Excel quirk that affects MacNail construction accounting software and causes it to use a previous address. NOTE-- The newer Goldenseal accounting software uses a simpler method to store account addresses, and won't have this problem. Comments Entered 4/11/95 by Dennis. Updated 11/9/2010. |
