Not Printing Checks to Employees

Problem

can't make a check printing file for a labor item in the ledger for MacNail construction payroll software

Diagnosis

says 'sorry couldn't print any checks' or just skips them

Solution

turn on the 'print labor items as ordinary checks' option in Payroll Options.
If just temporarily writing a labor check (e.g. for a reimbursement, bonus or something similar) and usually are printing paychecks from Payroll Reports, turn it back off again after printing the check.

NOTE-- normally you do NOT want to print labor checks, since that's done thru Payroll software including deductions etc. That's why we have that option.
