Removing Assembly Components

NOTE-- We retired the BidMagic Material Takeoff Software in 2001. It has been replaced by Goldenseal Material Takeoff Software.

We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual as a convenience for users of our older program. Many features are similar, in Goldenseal estimating.

Removing Components From An Assembly

To remove a component from the assembly, follow thee steps:
1. click on the pop-up button for that component.
2. Choose "none used" from the pop-up menu.
3. BidMagic will remove that material from the assembly.

Clearing the Current Assembly

To completely clear all items from the current assembly, click the Clear Assembly button. This will set all components of the assembly to "none used," and the current assembly price will be set to zero.

Use the Clear Assembly button when you wish to completely rebuild an assembly from scratch, using brand-new components.
