Using the Material Takeoff Manager

NOTE-- We retired the BidMagic Material Takeoff Software in 2001. It has been replaced by Goldenseal Material Takeoff Software.

We still include this BidMagic estimating software manual as a convenience for users of our older program. Many features are similar, in Goldenseal estimating.

Using the Material Manager

The Material Manager stores the latest prices from your material supplies. It helps you to keep material unit prices up-to-date in the BidMagic Material Takeoff Software.

Opening the Material Manager

You can get to the Material Manager in either of two ways:

* In the Finder, double click on the BidMagic Material Manager icon (located inside the BidMagic folder).

* If you are already in BidMagic, choose Material Prices from the Edit menu .
